Description:

In this meeting you will learn about a tool, Qualifying Longevity Annuity Contract (QLAC) which provides an exception to the Required Minimum Distribution requirement by allowing payments to start as late as 85. You will learn what a QLAC is, how it works, when it is appropriate to be utilized, it's use as a retirement tool, what are it's advantages and disadvantages, and which individuals, especially those who are only taking their RMD's because they must, would benefit using a QLAC. Additionally, we will discuss other strategies to plan for and to help maximize retirement income and help minimize the financial risks faced in retirement.

Disclosure: QLACs are subject to important restrictions and limitations, which you should discuss with your tax advisor. Neither New York Life, nor its agents or employees, provide tax or legal advice.
