-Prepare and complete Form 1041, including the required schedules and attachments.
-Prepare beneficiary reporting using Schedule K-1 (Form 1041).
-Apply federal tax rules related to trust and estate deductions, exemptions, and credits.
-Recognize common compliance issues and filing requirements for fiduciary income tax returns
-Explain the purpose and legal structure of trusts and estates.
-Distinguish between revocable and irrevocable trusts and identify common trust types.
-Understand fiduciary duties and responsibilities of trustees and executors.

Steven S. Tyre
Steven S. Tyre, CPA, has more than 50 years of experience in public accounting, taxation, business consulting, estate planning, and insurance services.Since 1974, Mr. Tyre has operated a private CPA practice in Temple City, California, specializing in tax planning and preparation, business accounting, trust and estate taxation, fiduciary accounting, and estate matters. He has assisted individuals, businesses, trusts, and estates with complex tax compliance, financial reporting, and strategic planning.Prior to establishing his private practice, Mr. Tyre worked as a Staff Auditor with Price Waterhouse Coopers LLC in Los Angeles from 1972 to 1974, where he gained extensive experience in auditing, accounting, and financial reporting for a variety of business clients.In addition to his accounting practice, Mr. Tyre founded and operated the Tyre Agency, a full-service insurance agency in Los Angeles. The agency provides comprehensive insurance solutions, including life insurance, health insurance, property insurance, and automobile insurance, allowing clients to integrate tax, financial, estate, and risk management planning.Mr. Tyre's extensive background in taxation, accounting, trusts and estates, and insurance provides clients and students with practical, real-world knowledge developed through decades of professional experience.
Tony Tyre
Tony J. Tyre is the founder of Tyre Law Group, a Southern California law firm focused on estate planning, trust administration, probate, conservatorships, and elder law.
