Topic: Early Bird Tax Update

We usually do our tax update right before tax season starts. That means we can include the last-minute changes, but it also means there's little time to absorb everything before tax season madness begins. This year we're going to start earlier! We're still trying to understand all the ramifications of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act (TCJA) and the changes that went into effect in 2018. So now is a good time to review the TCJA and to see if we applied it correctly. And to learn more, so that next year we can apply it more correctly.

Join us for a round table discussion covering many of the recent changes, including the 199A deduction, business loss limitations, opportunity zones, business interest limitation, accounting changes for small businesses, CA conformity, and more. Get up to speed now on the changes already in place. The last-minute changes can be added then - at the last minute.

Presenters: Steve Talavera and Markay Koontz, EA will be the round table moderators.
