Topic:

Part One: Corporate Transparency Act
The Corporate Transparency Act (CTA) will affect every LLC, S corp, C corp, and any other entity required to be "registered" with their respective state. The CTA was developed to curb and expose illicit activity, money laundering, and concealment of ownership. Anonymous companies are the vehicles of choice for the criminal and the corrupt to launder illicit funds with impunity. This seminar will present tax professionals with up-to-date valuable knowledge on the CTA and how it will impact your practice and clients.

Part Two: Little Known Tax Strategies That Will Add Value to your Service
Ever wonder if you are asking the right questions to get the right feedback from your clients in order to maximize their tax savings, and reduce their tax exposure? We will be discussing little known tax strategies including PSO retirement, military disability, medical expenses for special needs education, and more.

Part Two
Kenneth Quick, CRTP
Those that know me, know I am an energetic and very organized individual who thrives on human contact. Interacting with others is a high priority for me. I graduated from high school in 1990, received my tax preparer accreditation in 1995, and prepared my first tax return professionally in 1996. I met Lisa, my (then) future wife, at a networking event during that tax season, and married her in October of 1997. Our daughter TaylorAnn was born in May of 1999, and I took some time off to enjoy every moment. In 2000, I returned to preparing taxes and I have not looked back since. I truly enjoy it and the client contact just as much now, (if not more) than I did then. In 2013, I branched out and partnered with Bernstein Financial Services, Inc. in an effort to manage and maintain my own practice, while having a larger company association which allowed me to be full service to my clients. One of the greatest things I get to do is to help my clients with their tax planning and preparation. Outside of work, I enjoy event planning, cherish time with friends and family, decorating and volunteering.
