Description:
California requires tax withholding from all state earned income. This presentation will identify individuals, small businesses, or other entity’s who must withhold taxes, how tax is collected, all of the state tax categories for earned income requiring withholding and how tax is reported to California. A typical payroll service example will be used to illustrate withholding requirements. Additional payroll services which may support an individual small business or other entity’s, such as CALl-savers, will also be introduced.
