Course Description:

1. Review understanding of the ERC program
a.Discuss statute of limitations for refund claims
b.Provide overview of legislation guidelines for 2020 and 2021
c.Review IRS recent pronouncements regarding services providers for ERC claims
2. Review understanding of the R&D Tax Credit program
a.Review the impact of Section 174 amortization changes for tax years 2022 and after
b.Process around R&D study and determining eligibility
c.Discuss opportunities to monetize the R&D credit via payroll tax offset
3. Secure 2.0 Act Overview
a.Understanding the important provisions signed into law
b.Recognizing and analyzing the potential tax impacts related to Secure 2.0 Act
c.Identifying the changes affecting small business retirement plans including long-term/part-time employees
d.Learn the legislative impacts on tax incentives and their effects on plan participants.

Alex Perrotti – Alex is a Corporate Sales Manager for ADP’s Research & Development Tax Credit division. Alex has been with ADP for 6 years. Alex has his bachelor’s degree from Sacramento State University. He is from Napa Valley currently residing in Rancho Cordova and loves golfing and doing anything outdoors.
Jamie Noriega - Jamie is the VP of Sales for ADP’s Tax Credit Practice. Jamie has been with ADP for over 17 years and has her undergraduate degree from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo in Finance and MBA from Pepperdine’s Graziadio Business School in Leadership. Jamie resides in Folsom with her husband and 2 kids.
Alyssa Wong - Alyssa is an Elite District Manager for ADP Retirement Services for the Sacramento area. Alyssa has been with ADP for 6 years and has consistently worked closely with the Accountant community. She has her bachelor’s degree from the University of Arizona, where she was a part of the Eller College of Management. Alyssa is from the Sacramento area and currently resides in Rancho Cordova.
Jodi England - Jodi is the Sales Executive for ADP Retirement Services in the Pacific Northwest, covering Sacramento, the Bay Area, Portland and Seattle. Jodi has been with ADP for over 13 years. She has a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida. Jodi currently resides in Anaheim Hills, CA with her husband, daughter and 4 year old Bernedoodle
