Topic: 

California tax credits help reduce the amount of tax your client may owe. The purpose of this workshop is to review and understand the California Tax Credits for 2022: These include: California Earned Income Credit, Child Adoption credit, Child and dependent care credit, College access tax credit, Dependent parent credit, Joint Custody head of household, Other state tax credit, Prior year alternative minimum tax, nonrefundable renter's credit, Senior head of household credit and Tax credits now available for California-basedCannabis Companies. The goal of this workshop is to enhance the tax professional's use of California tax credits, thereby providing a complete, current and correct tax return

Presenter:

David Eastis, CRTP
David joined the California Society of Tax Consultants in 2004. As an active member of the CSTC he has served as Secretary of the Greater Long Beach Chapter. In 2012 he completed a 4 year term serving as Secretary for the Society Board of Directors, served as 1st VP in 2015 and 2016, served as past president for 2017 and 2018, served as a director of Region Three in 2021/2022. He is currently serving as President of the Orange County Chapter of CSTC. He received his Bachelor of Arts from the University of La Verne in 1980. He completed his accounting degree in 2003.
