Combining the ever-changing landscape of technology with the equally capricious world of tax law, we enter a brave new world of digital money and online vacation rentals that can create unforeseen issues and exciting opportunities for taxpayers.In this course, we will take a look at some of the recent developments in the taxation of digital assets (Cryptocurrency), the how and when of reporting, as well as exploring the ins-and-outs of vacation rental apps and the treatment of those rental activities from apps like AirBnB and VRBO.
